KENSIGTON GARDENS

Covering 111 hectares (275 acres), Kensington Gardens is planted with formal avenues of magnificent trees and ornamental flower beds. It is a perfect setting for Kensington Palace, peaceful Italian Gardens, the Albert Memorial, Peter Pan statue and the Serpentine Gallery.

The Gardens are particularly popular for sunbathing and picnics in fine weather. It is also popular as a healthy walking route to work for commuters. The paths are used extensively by joggers and runners. Cycling is allowed on the designated path linking the Queen's Gate to West Carriage Drive, Mount Gate to the Broadwalk and the broadwalk itself from Black Lion Gate to Palace Gate.

In my opinion Kensington Gardens are a fantastic place If you want to relax, walking, doing sport…, however when we visited the Kensington Gardens was raining and we didn’t visit the gardens with a lot of time because all were wet.

In conclusion I think that we didn’t choose the best day to visit a wonderful place like Kensington gardens.

MADAME TUSSAUDS

Madame Tussauds is a famous wax museum in London with branches in a number of major cities. It was set up by wax sculptor Marie Tussauds.
The museum moved to its current location on Marylebone Road in 1884. In 1925 a fire destroyed many of the figures, but the moulds survived allowing the historical waxworks to be remade.
Madame Tussaud's wax museum has now grown to become a major tourist attraction in London incorporating the London Planetarium in its west wing.
It has expanded with branches in Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Las Vegas and New York City.
Today's wax figures include historical and royal figures, film stars, sports stars and famous murderers.

I liked it so much! That place impressed me a lot, because it was full of people, and between them were the statues of the famous people...and sometimes we got confuse, because they looked real!
And there was a part of the museum of horror...!! There were statues of horror characters, but there were real people dressed like a monster, too. They were frightning to the people that decided to enter there...because yoy had the option of go ahead and not enter there.
It was amazing!
Madame Tussauds were my favourite museum of London!
